Ways to Volunteer in Crosslake

Crosslake Chamber of Commerce
Supports local businesses, tourism, and major community events while helping promote Crosslake as a vibrant place to live, work, and visit. Volunteers often assist with events, promotions, and community outreach.

Historic Log Village
Preserves Crosslake’s rich history through educational programs, seasonal events, and historical exhibits that showcase the area’s logging and pioneer roots. Volunteers help with tours, events, and guest experiences.

PAL Foundation (Parks, Arts & Library Foundation)

Crosslake Community Center

Light Up The Dam Committee

National Loon Center

Whitefish Chain Yacht Club
A longstanding nonprofit organization focused on promoting boating safety, swim education, navigation support, and stewardship of the Whitefish Chain through programs that benefit both residents and visitors. Volunteers often support water safety classes, events, and community lake initiatives.

Whitefish Area Property Owners Association (WAPOA)

Whitefish Area Lodging Association (WALA)

Greater Crosslake Area Foundation (GCAF)

Northern Minnesota Railroad Heritage Association
Home to Crosslake’s Northern Trackers Model Railroad Club, this organization preserves railroad history through exhibits, education, and family-friendly experiences. Volunteers assist with museum operations, events, and preserving an important piece of regional heritage.
